Anne, I guess with all those Bean films to choose from, your video recorder will be working overtime! Your reaction to a RL appearance sounds like it would be the same as mine. I'd be completely speechless.
I guess the reason behind NT2 would be couldn't have Sean in it as he ended up in jail. Couldn't he have gotten out? I mean he is very good at it.
Whatever is in my little egg is a surprise, so I'm just as as you, although very curious to see what's inside.
Paddy, it is the same everywhere. It makes you wonder how you can have so many things and not even know it! Great idea to keep your CD's and DVD's separate, I did the same and it was a very wise move. |

Okay that animated 100% Blade one has me on my knees. EEEEEGAD! The tongue ones are hysterical! Look at them quickly and see what I mean.
No Sean in NT2? I'm certain he could get himself out of jail. I'm not at all impressed he's not in it. It will flop. That's all there is to it.
Good eyes, Anne, I didn't notice the little egg at all until you mentioned it! Curiouser and curiouser!
Paddy, I can join that club too! We just had a garage sale today and got rid of lots of stuff but there's still lots that didn't go so it'll be picked up by a local charity for them to sell! We still have lots of junk hanging around and we just moved last year. You'd think we would have cleared it all away, and we did get rid of a lot. I guess we just kept too much still. |

I recently cleared out a large cupboard in my laundry and found a brand new pair of summer trousers with the tags still on them!!!!!! And from a store which has been closed for about 12 years!!!!!!! (The good thing is they still fit!!! And are not out of fashion!) |

LOL, it's really the same all over the world! I'm just glad that my mom isn't around my flat and trying to help me, because I can throw away things as I like it
Because mom and I fight over every single item when I'm down at the house. I decided to throw away my old (broken and tattered) dolls, their bed and some other doll stuff the other day, and guess what - mom found them and picked every little bit out of the trash bin... Just in case Lena and Larissa would like to play with them (Lena is 15 and never played with them, and Larissa doesn't like them - but maybe they change their mind some day.... )
And that's how it goes with every little piece of old furniture... Currently we're fighting over two old coal ovens - somebody had the great idea to store them on the attic - must have been more than 30 years ago. They're darn heavy and I can't move them all by myself, but "we might use them one day" anyway...
Now off to more packing...
BTW - Sean could easily get out of jail! I always thought him going to jail was an option for a sequel, since he's not dead and there are possibilities...
Cool that the pants still fit, Anne! :thumb: |

You can still fit into pants you bought 12 years ago??!! Anne! You're remarkable! I've easily put on at least 20 lbs. in the past 12 years.
My husband is the pack-rat here. I wait until he's out of the house and then gather up all the junk I want to get rid of (that he wants to keep) and dispose of it. He rarely misses anything!
Speaking of sequels, we're off to see the second Pirates film tonight and I'm very excited. I thought the first one was tons of fun, and I adore Johnny Depp (second only to Sean, of course!) |

LMAO, did you see one of the ladies avatars on the last link? It has Sean drinking from the blue cup with the words 'fancy a post shag brew lass?
Thanks for the updates Viv, that one has given me a great laugh.
Anne, well done on finding those pants.
Paddy, Viv, I think my mother is the same too!
Enjoy Vaire! |

Hmmmmm! Well ....... not so remarkable! It just means I'm still as overweight as I was 12 years ago!!!
I'm looking forward to seeing 'Pirates' also - it's on here at the moment. Typically, I came late to an appreciation of Pirates 1 - and to the sublime Johnny Depp! He has such a beautifully perfect face I think, but he doesn't capitalise on it. He seems to prefer to play parts which require him to look weird! I loved him in Pirates and Finding Neverland. I saw an interview with him recently where he said he had had the idea that Jack Sparrow should have no nose because he could have lost it in a fight and he badly wanted to be made up like that for the part! Fortunately when he put this idea to the director he was told : 'You are NOT going to be without a BLOODY nose!'
(Sorry, my darling Sean, to have let your thread be taken over by JD!) |

Pirates was a hoot! My husband and I had such a good laugh. The ending is a bit enigmatic but it's only leading up to the 3rd movie and that's out next summer. I agree Anne, JD has a very beautiful face. Such perfect structure and fine skin - I was quite jealous that Keira Knightley got to snog him in this film! He would've been too creepy without a nose, but he did have gold fillers put in his teeth for the role! Apparently, after his wild success in tv's Jump Street, he decided he abhorred being hero worshipped and began taking strange roles for his own enjoyment and growth as an actor. He can certainly pull off any role he wants, much like our Sean.
Mistress, that avi is a scream! I wish I could make the print on my avi show up better but I just can't figure out how to do it.
Those were lovely updates, Vivi. It always does my heart good to see a Boromir shot.
Vivi, Anne, I'm sure you'll enjoy Pirates 2. Vivi, how old are your kids? |

I have to wait two more weeks until Pirates will finally be released over here... (July 27) - and, seriously, I think that Johnny Depp is about the most beautiful man I've ever seen (Sorry Sean, sorry Orlando!!) - and he's getting better with age... and he's one hell of an actor! He was so sweet and touching in "Benny & Joon", and as Jack Sparrow he's just adorable! |

Vivi, 7 and 10 should be just fine. There were lots of kids around that age at the movie last night, and plenty younger, but I wouldn't take younger ones myself. Some of the scenes and characters could be pretty scarey.
Paddy, wasn't he great in "Benny & Joon"? Have you seen "What's Eating Gilbert Grape"? A very good character study there. I've enjoyed all his movies, especially "Chocolat" and even "Ed Wood" where he had to wear the pink angora sweater and dress in drag!
But adorable as he is, and beautiful, he doesn't have the same sensuality our Sean has somehow. Sean's attraction is more rugged and makes you feel like you could jump him, and Johnny has a more delicate quality, like you'd like to admire him from a little distance...what did I just write?? Jumping Sean?? Oh my! Dear me, could that be a Freudian slip? |

Yes, I think I agree with you Vaire!

After seeing Finding Neverland I was telling my 81 year old mother about how I had enjoyed the film and how beautiful Johnny was and she borrowed the video to see for herself. She thought Johnny was indeed beautiful and now watches whenever a movie of his turns up on TV. Last week she proudly told me she had watched 'Nightmare on Elm Street'!
In the interview I saw he seemed so shy and unassuming - I do so like actors who are like that - not searching for the limelight all the time! And of course Sean is like that too.
BTW, my second son, Damien, said to me the other day - 'You know I see and hear so much about Sean Bean in this house that when I see him in a movie it's like watching a member of our family!'
BTW (2) - Donnie Brasco is on TV here next week. Is that any good? |

Indeed! One CAN'T have too much Boromir! Just as one could never have enough Sharpe, Mellors, Ian Howe, Paul Shepherd, Sean Miller, Captain Rich, James, ...... and so on! And just as one could never have enough of Sean himself! |
